Govt. of Russia Announces Scholarship for Degree Programmes at St. Petersburg University

The Russian government has announced scholarships for degree programmes at St. Petersburg University. Therefore, the government of Russia has been inviting applications from Indian nationals for various degree programmes at St. Petersburg University.

The candidates who are interested in applying for scholarships have to do the same on or before June 15, 2017. Currently, there are 300 government-funded scholarships offered by the Russian government for entry into degree programmes. The candidates can apply for these government-funded scholarships. The Russian government has also invited applications for Contractual (Fee Paying) degree programmes.

• Cost of Tuition
• Reduced fee for dormitory stay

Application Process: -

• Only online applications are accepted for the scholarships offered by the Russian government.
• The application forms will be considered based on an essay and motivation letter. Previous academic and non-academic performance will also be taken into consideration.
• Only the official website of Cabinet SBPU of Russian government facilitates the online submission of application forms.
• The candidates have to fill the application form initially and the registration process follows later.
• After filling the application form, the candidates have to register their personal portfolio.
• The candidates need to attach the essay and motivation letter in the personal portfolio.
• The candidates who pass in the application competition will only get a chance to pursue degree courses in St. Petersburg University and their names will be recommended for government-funded scholarships.
