Govt’s Incubation Cell at IIFT to Promote Export Start-ups
Government has set up an incubation cell at IIFT to support export start-ups.
In order to promote export start-ups, an incubation cell has been set up at Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) by the government.
While inaugurating the cell, MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra said that this incubation cell will be helpful to provide young entrepreneurs with all the expert guidance and help required for their start up. The cell has been designed in such a manner that with the help of the incubation cell, the students will now be able to expand their domestic business to foreign markets.
This incubation center has been given the name:KITTES (Knowledge for Innovation in Trade and Technology for Entrepreneurial Start-ups)
With the main motive to support startups from the very beginning to the time it has an international stand, the cell is run by Centre of MSME Studies at IIFT (Delhi).
An advisory body has also been set up which consists of industrialists, venture capitalists, technical specialists and many people from the industry who will support the incubation cell. This will help young entrepreneurs fulfill their goals with required infrastructure, business advisory, mentoring and financial services.
