Graduate Student of IIT Delhi Scores 100 Percentile in CAT 2016
His primary target is to secure admission in Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Akshay took CAT examination for the second time and scored 228.98 with an overall 100 percentile.
Scoring 99 percentile in Common Admission Test or CAT 2016 does not satisfy some of the aspirants, and they work hard and strive to achieve a 100 percentile. Akshay Mehndritta, a B.Tech graduate from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi is one among such candidates who followed his strategy and instincts to score 100 percentile in CAT 2016 examination.
His primary target is to secure admission in Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Akshay took the CAT examination for the second time and scored 228.98 with a 100 in overall percentile.

Currently, Akshay is working as a consultant for a private company located in Gurgaon. He worked hard to maintain the balance between his CAT preparation and office work. He devoted Saturdays and Sundays for the exam preparation. He also took mock tests to improve the expertise. He revealed that regular assessment, test practice and analysis boosted confidence in him.
Akshay scores 99.34 percentile in the previous attempt of CAT examination, and he was not satisfied with the score and aimed to achieve 100 percentile. Finally, he achieved success. He explained that during his previous attempt he had only three months of time to understand all the papers. He was pursuing final B.Tech and was unable to devote more time for CAT preparation.

He further expressed that nowadays most of the engineers are either appearing for civil services or joining MBA course. Therefore, taking CAT examination improves the market value of a student if he/she scores a 100 percentile. He also mentioned that he is not satisfied with engineering and wanted to change his field. Therefore, he chose management as he has a deep inclination towards it.
As of now, Akshay wants to settle in the field of finance or pursue a doctorate in Economics. He expressed that he is going to realise his dream by joining the Indian Institute of Management and pursue Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme.
He advised the future CAT aspirants to practice more mock tests to achieve success and a secure high score.
