Gujarat FRC Sets Fees for Technical Institutes
The Gujrat Fee Regulatory Committee has fixed fee for 43 Technical colleges of the state for 2019-20 academic year. The list includes recently established university that is less than two-year-old universities
The Fee Regulatory Committee of Gujarat has fixed the fee for recently established technical colleges in the state for the academic year of 2019-20. A total of 43 technical colleges were considered by FRC out of which 23 colleges were two years old and 20 were less than one year old.
Out of the recent 20 institutes, the highest Fee limit was of Parul Institute of Technology, Waghodia and school of Pharmacy, Parul University, Waghodia. Have a look at the list of important institutes listed by the FRC:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy course offered under the School of pharmacy at the Parul Institute of Technology, Waghodia got a fee hike of Rs 10,000. In the previous academic year, the total fee of the course was Rs 60,000, however, now, the fees have been upgraded to Rs 70,000 by FRC.
- Engineering Diploma Courses offered by the Parul Institute of Technology, Waghodia has been increased by Rs 5,000. Earlier the fee was 35,000 and now it has been updated to Rs 40,000.
- The fee for B. Arch Programme offered by the Vadodara Institute of Architecture remains unchanged that is Rs 85,000 for the current academic year.
- There was no change in the fee of any programme offered by the Gujrat Technical University.
- There was a change of Rs 5,000 to 1 Lakh in the fee structure of many institutes like - Kahyati School of Engineering, School of Engineering-Indrashil University and Bhagwan Mahavir College of Pharmacy.

Whereas for the other 23 universities, there has been a hike between Rs 35,000 to Rs 1,07,000. Have a look at the list of college and universities whose academic fee has been updated:
- Engineering Diploma at the Apollo Institute of Engineering & Technology, Ahemdabad.
- M.Tech Courses at the Navrachna University - School of Engineering & Technology
- B.Tech Programmes offered by Vidush Somany Institue of technology & Research
- B.Pharma course at Gyanmajari Pharmacy College, Bhavnagar

Most of the fee updates have been made in the Pharmacy and B.Tech courses, students aspiring to pursue these programmes this year would have to pay the hiked fees according to the updated fee structure of FRC.
