Gujarat University Gives Clearance to 19 New Colleges
The academic council, however, has not given clearance to the new syllabus yet.
In the academic council meeting of the Gujarat University, the University decided to give clearance to 19 new colleges. The meeting was held on 13th October’ 16 and all these 19 colleges were recently given affiliation to became a part of Gujarat University. In the same meeting, the officials were supposed to give clearance to the new syllabus that was going to be introduced in these colleges. But the academic council decided to put a hold on that decision, for now, and they decided to not give the clearance to the new syllabus.

In the meeting, the officials of the academic council came up with the rules and regulations for the recruitment of faculty members in these colleges. The council has decided to appoint 20 academicians for now. The council has also decided to appoint two of its members as GU syndicates but names of those members have not been disclosed yet.
