Gujarat University Second Semester Exams 2022 Postponed: Check New Dates
Gujarat University has extended the second semester examination to June 7, 2022 instead of May 26, 2022, after the representation of Gujarat State Principals’ Association.
Gujarat University has extended the second semester examination to June 7, 2022 instead of May 26, 2022. The exam rescheduling has been done after the representation of Gujarat State Principals’ Association. Initially, the association wrote a letter to the vice chancellor of Gujarat University requesting to delay the second semester exams approximately for 10 days.
Around 1 lakh students of Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, BBA, BEd, BCA enrolled their names for the second semester exam. In addition, the college administrations were asking for more time for exam preparation such as sitting arrangement, supervision staff etc. The Gujarat Association also pointed to the extreme heat wave as the other important reason for delaying the second semester exam.
As per the statement of Star Payal Iyer, General Secretary of Gujarat State Principals’ Association, the Vice Chancellor of the Gujarat University had accepted the request of exam delaying after considering the facts. The colleges under Gujarat University informed that they needed time for examination preparation. Additionally, they also needed senior supervisors and supervisors, who were already gone on vacation, for successful exam commencement. Apart from that, the colleges were asking for extra time for arranging the spaced sitting arrangement. Based on the media report, it can be assumed that the Gujarat University will release the revised exam scheduled very soon, tentatively in the next few days.
