Gujarat University To Go Online with Students’ Records
The prestigious Gujarat University (GU) has announced its decision to upload all records and degrees of students on their college website.
Here is a news of a techno-savvy university going to online to put all the education-related records of its students and their degrees on its website much to the delight of its students and parents.

Recently prestigious Gujarat University (GU) decided to upload all the records and degrees of students on their college website. As a first step of the exercise, documents of the students have already begun to upload and the entire process will be completed by the end of the March next year 2017.
New move will help student multiple ways like -
- Students who have settled in foreign countries will no longer require to access them physically
- Students can check their records and degrees online
- It will save their time and energy
- It will help them in producing their certificates in the colleges and recruiting organisations
An official of the University said that when a student of the University goes for higher education to a foreign country, he/she has to produce education records and degrees. The foreign university often checks the authenticity of the documents and sends its copy to the University. It is a time-consuming process for the University. And the candidates are not admitted into those Universities until GU sends their verification report. With the degree online, it will put an end to the time-consuming process.

Vice-Chancellor of GU, M N Patel said that they have already started uploading the documents and degrees on the website. The process will come to end by the end of this academic year and all educational documents, degrees of the current and past students will be made available online, so that the students find it convenient to access their education documents and degrees in future.
