HCL Conducted Placement Drive at Vignan University

Reputed corporate company HCL conducted placement drive at Vignan University, Guntur on 16-April-2016. The placement drive was conducted for Mechanical and CSE departments. The placement drive was inaugurated by the dean of engineering, Dr.Madhusudhan Rao. The company officials were welcomed by the students in a grand manner.

Three rounds of interview were conducted. Students took part in a preliminary online test related to the subject. The qualified students in preliminary test participated in group discussion. Students have come up with new ideas regarding the developments in technology in group discussion. The qualified students in group discussion attended the final round of interview. A total number of 80 students attended the interview and 35 students got placed. Out of 35, 21 students of the mechanical engineering department and 14 students of CSE department got placed.

On this occasion, the college management conducted a press meet to congratulate the students on this occasion. College director, Lavu Rattiah said, “The University has been successful in assuring 85% of placements and we have been consistently working to assure 100% placements. The Engineering college of University has been ranked as the 88^th best institute in India”. He appreciated the efforts of the faculty for bringing out the hidden talents of the students. He congratulated the students and greeted them for a bright career.
