<p>Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, hosted the annual alumni meet called “Sanidhya”, in Bhubaneswar on last Sunday with active participation of students, teachers and large number of ex- students.
The Institute and the Bhubaneswar Chapter of XIMB Alumni Association jointly organized the event.
Fr. Paul Fernandes, S.J., Director, XIMB and Fr. Antony Uvary, S.J. Associate Director XIMB led the discussions and Professor LathaRavindran, Alumni Coordinator, XIMB, presented annual activity report of the Association.
It was followed by a presentation by Bhubaneswar Chapter and an open house interaction with the alumni focusing on academic and other meaningful collaborations between the alumni and their alma mater.
Dr. Adyasha Das, who is an eminent classical and a contemporary singer and is well known in Odisha music circles regaled the audience with her best musical performances. She is a Faculty, Indian Institute of Tourism & Travel Management, Bhubaneswar and alumnus, Batch 1992-94.
Rajat Kapoor, renowned, Bollywood Actor, Director, Producer and Writer of Bheja Fry, Corporate and Drishyam fame, interacted with the alumni, faculty and students of the Institute at event - “An evening with Rajat Kapoor”,
The event ended with a cocktail and dinner where teachers, ex- students and students interacted with each other and exchanged their visiting cards.
Significantly the Institute was established in the year 1987, it has produced over 7,000 alumni, who has been making a mark in the corporate as well as in the social sector all over the globe.
