HPCET 2018 Final Answer Key Released; Result on 30th May

Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HIMTU) conducts Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) annually for admission to MBA, MCA, B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, M.Pharmacy and B.Pharmacy (Ayurveda). HPCET 2018 notification was released in the first week of March, and the exams were conducted on 12th & 13th May. HPTU has released the HPCET 2018 Final Answer Key on 23rd May, 2018. HPCET 2018 B.Tech Eligibility Criteria: -
- Candidates must have passed in Class 12 from a recognised board with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as the major subjects.
- The minimum qualifying marks in Class 12 are 45% (40% for Reserved Categories). Only those students who have secured this percentage will be eligible to appear for HPCET.
HPCET 2018 B.Pharmacy Eligibility Criteria: -
- The applicants should be 17 years of age as on December 31 every year.
- Class 12 with Biology, Physics and Chemistry are mandatory to be eligible for HPCET.
- 45% is the minimum qualifying percentage in Class 12 to appear for HPCET. For reserved categories, 40% is the qualifying percentage.
- NIOS students are not eligible for the admission.

HPCET 2018 B.Pharmacy (Ayurveda) Eligibility Criteria: -
- The applicants should pass Class 12 with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as the compulsory subjects.
- The minimum qualifying marks in Class 12 should be 45% (40% for Reserved Categories). Only these students will be eligible to appear for HPCET.
- NIOS students are not eligible for the admission.
HPCET 2018 M.Tech Eligibility Criteria: -
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology (B.E/ B.Tech) in the relevant field from a recognised university is mandatory to be eligible for HPCET.
- Applicants should have 50% of marks (45% for reserved categories) in B.Tech/ B.E
HPCET 2018 M.Pharmacy Eligibility Criteria: -
- B.Pharmacy from a recognised university with 50% of marks (45% for reserved categories) is mandatory for the admission to M.Pharmacy.
HPCET 2018 MBA Eligibility Criteria: -
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university with 50% of marks
- In case of reserved categories, 45% of marks in Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
HPCET 2018 MCA Eligibility Criteria: -
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and Mathematics as a compulsory subject in Class 12
- The minimum qualifying marks are 50% (45% for reserved categories) to appear for HPCET.

- The admissions will be based on the performance of candidates in the entrance test.
