HRD Minister, Javadekar Discussed Issues with IIT Students
HRD minister inspected the IIT, Dharwad campus.
On 28th August’ 16, Prakash Javadekar who is the Human Resources Department Minister inaugurated programs at IIT Dharwad. On this occasion, students of Indian Institute of Technology got a chance to have a discussion with the HRD Minister and the CM, Siddaramaiah. The minister inaugurated the programs in WALMI premises around 3 pm.

A powerpoint presentation was given by IIT- Bombay on everything related to Indian Institute of Technology. S B Bommanahalli who is the Deputy Commissioner himself checked all the arrangements on Friday i.e. 26th August’ 16. He told the reporters that 53,000 square feet of space was given for the event in the WALMI premises. He also mentioned that brochures were made for the event explaining everything that took place. After the inaugural session, the HRD Minister visited the IIT, Dharwad campus around 4 pm to inspect all the facilities and to examine the quality of education provided at the institute.
