HRD Minister Praises SRCC's NIRF India Ranking 2017 & NAAC Grade
Popular college of the Delhi University, Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), stood third NIRF India Rankings 2017 and received a top grade of A-plus by NAAC.
Popular college of the Delhi University, Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), stood third in the National Institutional Ranking Framework 2017 (NIRF India Rankings 2017). Moreover, the college also received a top grade of A-plus by the nodal accreditation agency NAAC. In view of the same, the Human Resource Development Minister, Mr. Prakash Javadekar praised the college for the same.
While addressing the gathering at SRCC’s 91st Annual Day, he also added that now is the time when the need to move towards research activities (from theoretical to live) is essential. To achieve the same, sheer hard work and determination will help the students achieve long term objectives as well.

The Annual Day celebrations of SRCC took place on 13th April 2017. An alumni of SRCC and famous journalist Mr. Rajat Sharma was the Guest of Honour for the occasion. While addressing the students he said in order to make it big in your professional career, it is important to focus on extracurricular activities as it helps inculcate good personality traits as well as efficiency to be able to work in teams.
Students of the college who had performed exceptionally well during the year were awarded medal, certificates and prizes for their academic achievements and exemplary work in extra curricular activities as well as sports. Apart from that, many alumni members, now taking on different roles were also felicitated and recognised during the event.

The Chairman of SRCC’s governing body, Mr. Ajay Shriram said that the inputs from NIRF and NAAC have put forward an opportunity for SRCC to introspect. With it, they will be able to work towards further improving the teaching-learning process and student-oriented facilities further.
