IBPS Exam Calendar 2023-24, Check IBPS Exam Dates

IBPS Exam Calendar 2023-24: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has released the IBPS Exam Calendar 2023-24 for all the upcoming banking exams this year. The recruitment body conducts various banking exams, such as IBPS Clerk, PO (Probationary Officer), SO (Specialist Officer), RRBs, and others, every year to appoint young, eligible candidates to suitable posts. The banking sector is one of the most sought-after career choices for aspirants owing to the lucrative remuneration, job security and flexibility, high prestige and a number of perks and benefits. Lakhs of candidates apply for the top IBPS banking exams to compete for the limited seats. However, only a few thousand make the cut. Those who wish to make a career in this sector must be aware of the IBPS Exam Dates 2023-24 and start their preparations in advance. 

IBPS Exam Calendar 2023-24: Check All IBPS Exam Dates 

Banking exams are usually conducted in different stages. Candidates must first qualify the Preliminary exam those who pass this stage are called for the Mains exam. In some cases, an additional Interview round is conducted to test the candidate’s conceptual knowledge and assess their overall personality. The tentative IBPS Exam Dates of both Prelims and Mains are tabulated below:

IBPS RRB 2023-24 Exam 

IBPS RRB is conducted to recruit suitable candidates for the posts of Group A-Officers (Scale I, II & III) and Group B-Office Assistants (Multipurpose). The IBPS RRB Selection Process varies for different posts. Candidates are shortlisted for the Office Assistant post through a Preliminary exam followed by the Mains exam. On the contrary, candidates for Officer Scale I are recruited through the Preliminary, Mains, and Interview stages. For Officer Scale II & III, candidates are recruited through a single examination. 

IBPS PO 2023-24 Exam 

The IBPS PO exam is conducted to hire eligible candidates for the post of Probationary Officer/Management Trainee in various nationalized banks across the country. The selection process for IBPS PO/MT includes three stages – Prelims, Mains, and Interview. As per the IBPS 2023 Exam Schedule, the Preliminary exam is to be conducted on September 23, 30 and October 1. Those who qualify the Prelims will participate in the Mains exam that is scheduled on November 5, 2023. The Institute will announce the date of the Interview in due time.

IBPS Clerk 2023-24 Exam 

The recruiting body aims to hire young aspirants for Clerical Cadre posts in the participating organizations through the IBPS Clerk 2023-24 Exam. Candidates are selected based on their performance in the Preliminary and Mains examinations. Although the Prelims exam is only qualifying in nature, the marks obtained in the Mains determine the status of the candidate. The IBPS Clerk Prelims 2023 Exam will take place on August 26, 27 and September 2. The IBPS Clerk Mains 2023 Exam will be held on October 7.

IBPS SO 2023-24 Exam 

Through the IBPS SO exam, candidates are selected for various Specialist Officer posts, including Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I), IT Officer (Scale I), Marketing Officer (Scale I), HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I), Law Officer (Scale I), and Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I). IBPS conducts two rounds of examination – Prelims and Mains. The IBPS SO 2023 Exam Date has been scheduled on December 30 & 31 while the Main exam is to be conducted on January 28, 2024.

Candidates must also keep an eye out for the official IBPS Exam Notification 2023 to check IBPS PO, IBPS SO, IBPS Clerk, and RRB exam pattern. Any changes in the IBPS Exam Dates will be notified at ibps.in as and when required.
