IBPS Specialist Officer (SO) Recruitment 2017
- IBPS SO exam 2017 is going to be conducted to fill a total of 1315 Specialist Officers posts in the participating banks.
- IBPS SO recruitment consists of 3 main stages – Prelims, Mains, and Personal Interview.
IBPS SO Recruitment Notification 2017: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released a notification for the recruitment of Specialist Officers (SO) in participating banks. As per the notification, IBPS will conduct the recruitment process to select eligible candidates for the posts of 1,315 Specialist Officers in various participating banks.
Conducted on a national level, IBPS SO recruitment has three stages – Prelims, Mains, and Personal Interview. The Preliminary exam will be conducted 30th and 31st December 2017, Main exam on 28th January 2018 and Interview in the month of February 2018.
Out of the total 1,315 vacancies, IBPS 875 of the posts are for Agricultural Field Officer (scale-I), 120 vacancies are reserved for IT Officer (Scale-I), 30 posts are for Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale-I), 35 vacancies are reserved for HR/Personnel Officer (Scale-I), 60 posts are for Law Officer (Scale-I) and 195 posts are reserved for Marketing Officer (Scale-I).

- Enter your login details: Registration Number and Password
- Upload your Photograph and Signature
- To proceed further, click on the Pay online option
- After successfully making the online payment, submit your IBPS SO recruitment application
- Download and take a print out of the application form

IBPS SO Admit Card 2017:
IBPS SO admit card 2017 will be issued by IBPS for the Preliminary exam, Mains exam as well as for the Interview. Only those candidates whose IBPS SO applications are accepted will get IBPS admit card for the Preliminary exam in the month of December 2017. After qualifying the IBPS Prelims, IBPS RRB Admit Card for Mains Exam will only be issued to qualified candidates in the month of January 2018. Finally, candidates qualifying in both Preliminary and Mains exam will be issued a separate admit card for Interview in the month of February 2018. Candidates must note that IBPS will not send the hard copy of admit cards to any of the candidates. However, all candidates must download and print their respective admit cards for future reference.
IBPS SO Result 2017:
After successfully conducting the exam, IBPS will announce the IBPS SO Result 2017 for the Preliminary exam, Mains exam and Interview. For recruitment purposes, IBPS will decide the minimum qualifying marks that must be scored by the candidates in each stage of the IBPS SO recruitment. On the basis of candidates' overall performance in the entrance test, short-listing will be done for Interview round and a final merit list will be prepared afterwards. To view the scores online, candidates will have to log in with their exam Roll Number and Date of Birth.
Note: Candidates will have to qualify the Preliminary exam to participate further in the Main exam. Candidates will be able to view their scores Preliminary exam in the month of January 2018, whereas for the Main exam, candidates will be able to view their scores in the month of February 2018.
