ICAI Gives Relaxation to CA Intermediate Course - Direct Entry for Registered Candidates
CA Intermediate Direct Entry Route candidates will be given relaxation for the examination in May 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released an official notification stating that candidates who have registered for the CA Intermediate course via Direct Entry Route Admission will be given relaxation for the May 2021 examination. Only those candidates who have registered provisionally for the CA Intermediate Course before July 31st will be considered for the same.
ICAI introduced Direct Entry Admission due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis that has affected the already registered candidates. These candidates will not be able to appear for the exam this year. Registration was done by them for May 2020 examination and now they can appear for May 2021 CA intermediate examination.
The official notification of ICAI states that registered candidates will have to submit documented proof for CA Intermediate Course via Direct Entry Route as many universities are yet to conduct the final year exams.
The candidates need to submit documented proof for their eligibility for the CA Intermediate course through Direct Entry Route as various universities are yet to conduct the final year examinations. These candidates will be required to start their Practical Training on or before 15th September 2020 and will have to complete the IT Training and Orientation Course before 31st December 2020 and then appear for May 2021 examination.
