ICAI Launches New Courses on International Affairs
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI has introduced new courses on international affairs policy and international curriculum. The courses will be offered in distance learning mode.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is introducing new courses on international affairs policy and international curriculum. The courses were launched by the Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan. The newly launched courses of ICAI will be introduced in distance learning mode due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The classes for the same will be held in online mode.
While launching the course, he informed that the International Affair Policy and International Curriculum launched by ICAI is the right step in the right direction to enhance the ICAI's global presence and recognition. The International Affair Policy and International Curriculum introduced by ICAI aims to develop Indian CAs as a global brand to provide them with global exposure.
According to ICAI, Great emphasis will be laid on e-learning modes such as e-books, e-journals, virtual coaching classes, e-lectures. The Management and Communication Skills and Information Technology Training (ITT) will also take place online. The curriculum will follow the existing structure of CA. The three year concurrent practical/ industrial training will also be mandatory.
ICAI further informed that the curriculum of the course is designed in such a manner that it attracts students from developing nations in the initial stages of economic development. This will contribute to the economic growth of their respective countries.
