ICFAI School of Architecture Introduces B.Arch Course

ICFAI School of Architecture- ISArch Hyderabad has introduced a B.Arch programme. The duration of the course is five years and follows the semester system. The duration of each semester is 90 working days or 15 to 18 weeks.

Prof. Mahender Reddy, ICFAI Vice- Chancellor confirmed the same and said students pursuing B.Arch program at ISArch would have to undertake an internship in the final year. The internship will last one full semester. The internship will help students to gain practical experience and exposure. Internships shall prepare students for the jobs in the respective field, he added.

Apart from this, all the nine semesters include summer internships to enhance and improve their architecture skills. The summer internships during the programme will also provide the students with an opportunity to work on their professional skills which will ultimately make them job-ready. These internships also help students to gain work experience.

The B.Arch course at ISArch follows the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) as per the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The CBCS provide students with an option to choose courses of their choice while meeting the minimum required credits.

Candidates who have passed class 12th or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics can apply for B.Arch course at search. Apart from this, the candidates should have the valid score in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). The NATA exam is conducted by the Council of Architecture - COA all over the country.
