ICSE Class 10 Weightage 2023: The syllabus of ICSE history and civics subject has been very unevenly distributed and hence, there is no specific weightage marks distribution for the same. But by analysing the previous papers and the current sample paper, an analysis can be made, although it is approximate in nature. Out of the 80 total marks, 30 marks are from Civics and the rest 50 marks are from History.

As per the question paper pattern of ICSE Class 10 history & civics, there are two sections: A and B, which are not the same as history and civics. Section A (MCQ & objective) has 30 marks and Section B (subjective) has 50 marks. In Section A, there will be 16 MCQs, each for one mark, and 7 objective questions. In Section B, each question carries 10 marks. Civics has 20 marks and history has 30 marks.
