IGNOU to Provide Extra Chances for Students of Discontinued Courses
IGNOU will provide students of discontinued courses an option to appear in the term end examination. Students can appear in the examination in December 2018 and June 2019
In a recent decision made by the prestigious IGNOU, it has said that two extra chances will be provided to students to appear in the term-end examinations for the three courses that have been discontinued by the varsity. This is a one-time measure that IGNOU has taken for the benefit of students enrolled in those courses.
The two extra chances of examinations will be provided to students in December 2018 and June 2019 where they will have to appear for the Term End Examinations (TEE) for the three discontinued courses of School of Journalism and New Media Studies. Students who could not complete their respective programmes within the given time frame will be able to take the exams. The three discontinued courses include M.A. in Electronic Media Production & Management (MAEMPM), M.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication (MAJMC) and B.A. in 3D Animation & Visual Effects (BAVFX).

Students are required to fill the examination form within registration period time period as declared by the university in order to appear in the term-end examination which will be held in December 2018 and June 2019. This is an initiative by the university to help students complete their pending courses.

However, students must not that this is a one-time measure and the varsity will not provide any further opportunities for students to clear their pending examination. Hence, they are advised to fill their examination forms within the given time.
