IGNOU Launches BA in Facility and Services Management (BAFSM) Programme
IGNOU has launched a first-of-its-kind 3-year programme of Bachelor of Arts in Facility and Services Management (BAFSM). It aims to prepare the candidates for jobs in the Facility Services Management sector.
IGNOU BAFSM Programme: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched a first-of-its-kind 3-year degree programme of BA in Facility and Services Management. BAFSM aims to acquaint the student with basic knowledge and skills required for day-to-day operations that support an organization’s needs and core functions.
The programme was launched by Prof. Nageshwar Rao, the Vice Chancellor of the institute, through a conference arranged for the same purpose at IGNOU headquarters. Prof. Rao said at the launch that the Facility and Services Management field is seeing rapid growth and thus, ensures to provide employment to the students after the completion of their degree course. He also complemented IGNOU for introducing such a programme in his address.
IGNOU’s BA in Facility and Services Management will be a job-oriented programme designed in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The eligibility for the programme is 10+2 or equivalent qualification from any recognized institute. BAFSM will also follow a modular approach having multiple entry and exit options. The programme will be in English language and the admissions to it will be done for both July and January sessions. The registrations for the ongoing July session are now open and interested candidates may apply for IGNOU BAFSM programme at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

Eligible and interested candidates may go through the following steps to register for BA in Facility and Services Management programme at IGNOU:
Step 1: Go to ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
Step 2: Then access ‘Click Here for New Registration link and fill in the details as asked.
Step 3: Once registered, select the course as ‘IGNOU BAFSM’ and upload all the supporting documents and details.
Step 4: Recheck all the details carefully before paying the application fee and making the final submission.
Step 5: Download/print the application form for further references.
