IGNOU June TEE Exam Date Postponed
IGNOU has postponed the exam date for the June term-end exam due to the coronavirus situation in the nation. The exam was earlier supposed to be held on June 1, 2020. The exam will now be conducted in July.
IGNOU has decided to postpone the June term-end exam which was earlier supposed to be conducted on June 1, 2020. As per the reports, the new dates for the exam will be decided later after considering the COVID-19 situation. The VC, Nageshwar Rao has stated that the students will be informed about the new exam date at least 15 days in advance. The exam is likely to be held in July now in either online or offline mode as per the university's convenience.
IGNOU has also extended the last date of submitting the applications for the term-end examinations (TEE) of various exams to May 31, 2020. Earlier, the last date of submitting the application form was May 15, 2020. Keeping in view the spread of coronavirus and lockdown throughout the country, with the approval of the competent authority with the last date of accepting the June 2020 Term-end Examination forms without any late fee has been extended upto May 15 as per the official notice.
Those who wish to apply for the exam will have to pay Rs 150/- as application fees for each course. This year onwards, the examination centre will be the regional centre only.

The university had earlier revised the dates for the December term-end examination 2019 due to assembly elections in Jharkhand. The assembly elections announced in the state of Jharkhand were clashing with the university term-end examination taking place in December 2019.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, various exams at the school, national and the university level have been postponed. Some institutes have also postponed their convocations. DU teachers have been asked to work from home and classes have been suspended. All exams of AMU have also been postponed. Classes are being conducted virtually for students and even the GD-PI sessions of some of the B-schools will happen virtually.
