IIFT Scraps Essay Writing (WAT) from MBA Admission Process 2021

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has scrapped the Essay Writing Test (WAT) from its MBA Selection Criteria 2021. As per a notification released on the official website (iift.edu), the institute has decided to scrap the element of the Essay Writing Test held on April 24 and May 16. Given below is the full text of the notification released by IIFT.
IIFT held the online Extempores and Personal Interviews for admission to the 2021-22 batch of its MBA in International Business (MBA-IB) programme between these dates. The institute received mails from several candidates who could not participate in the extempore and interviews due to health or other issues and requested rescheduling.

IIFT released the list of 141 candidates who requested rescheduling of extempore/ interview. The complete list can be checked below.

It also invited other candidates to send their name and application number via email to soadmissions@iift.ac.in by May 19 5:00 pm to show their interest in appearing for the rescheduled extempore and PI for IIFT MBA Admissions.
About IIFT MBA Admission Process 2021
IIFT conducts admission of candidates to the MBA (IB) course offered in its campuses in IIFT New Delhi and IIFT Kolkata based on the IIFT entrance exam. IIFT 2021 was held on January 24 and the institute is in the process of conducting the Essay Writing, Online Extempore, and Personal Interview as part of its MBA Selection Process. The institute decided to not conduct Group Discussions (GD) this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
