IIM Bangalore Launches General Management Programme in Dubai
IIM Bangalore has introduced a first, transborder executive management programme, General Management Programme (GMPx). The classes will be held in Bangalore and Dubai, over a span of eight months, with classroom and virtual sessions as well.
In a first, a transborder executive programme in management has been launched by the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B), in Dubai. The executive programme, under the alias of General Management Programme (GMPx), has been designed to train professionals at a senior level.
In a statement released by the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, the General Management Programme has been designed by Professors G Shainesh, Vasanthi Srinivasan and PD Jose. IIM Bangalore claims that the GMPx programme will be educating the students with necessary global perspectives, skills and the knowledge to compete in the current business world.
The Chief Programme Officer of Executive Education Programme at IIM Bangalore, Madan Mohan Raj stated that the programme will be most beneficial to those aspiring to take part in the evolution of different general and strategic managerial perspectives at a global level.

Registration Dates and Fee Structure of IIM Bangalore General Management Programme
As per the information shared with the media, the classes for the GMPx course will commence from 29th November 2019. All interested candidates will be required to complete the application and pay the fees as per the guidelines set by IIM Bangalore for GMPx. The registration dates and the fee structure of IIM Bangalore’s General Management Programme are:
Registration Process for GMPx course at IIM Bangalore has already begun.
The last date to register for GMPx at IIM Bangalore is 15th November 2019.
The Fee Structure of IIM Bangalore GMPx course is ₹7,85,000.

Course Structure of IIM Bangalore General Management Programme (GMPx)
The course structure of IIM Bangalore’s General Management Programme (GMPx) includes 24 classroom days as well as virtual sessions in a span of eight months. The virtual classes will be undertaken through Massive Online Open Courses (MOOC). IIM Bangalore also mentioned that there will be a total of 5 modules will be taught during the entire duration of the executive course in Bangalore and Dubai.
The guidelines for admission to GMPx at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore states that candidates must a minimum of 5 years of managerial experience after completing their graduation.
