IIM Bangalore Ranks Among Top 50 B-Schools Globally in Executive Education
Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) ranks among the Top 50 global schools, for the second year in a row as per the Financial Times Executive Education 2020 Rankings.
The Indian School of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) has been ranked among the top 50 B-schools globally for the second time in a row, as per the Financial Times Executive Education Rankings 2020 which was released on May 11, 2020.
IIM Bangalore said that it is the only Indian business school to be a part of this reputed global list of executive education providers. The Financial Times announced the list of top 85 B-schools for custom programmes, top 75 B-schools for open programmes and a combined ranking for the top 50 B-schools which offer executive education (open as well as custom programmes).

IIM Bangalore has secured 45th rank in the combined ranking categories, 52nd in the custom and 55th in the open programmes. The management schools were rated basis various parameters by the organisations which commission executive education courses (for the custom courses), by the course participants (for open courses) and on the basis of the data submitted by the Business schools.

Some of the parameters are faculty, teaching methods, course design and facilities. The Chief Programme Officer, Executive Education Programmes at IIM Bangalore said that their design and delivery of the programmes aligned to meet the needs of the individual or the organisation was one of the main differentiators for their success. IIM Bangalore also recently released the final shortlist for the PGP programme for the 2020-22 academic session and IIMs will begin the 2020-22 session of their academic programmes by August 1st, 2020.
