IIM Bangalore to Host Third Annual Women Leadership Summit
It is the third annual summit, and the theme is 'To the Helm'. The summit will witness a broad range of speakers who will deliver their talks on the theme.
Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore will hold third annual Women Leadership Summit on January 15, 2017. Bringing together a community from industry, academia and entrepreneurship and engage them with relevant issues and carrying out important conversations about women leadership is the main objective of the programme.
It is the third annual summit, and the theme is 'To the Helm'. The summit will witness a broad range of speakers who will deliver their talks on the theme. Kaustubh Chakraborty, Ex-Partner, McKinsey & Company and Neeta Revankar, CFO, Sasken Technologies will deliver the keynote address.

Reveankar will talk about how women can make it to the corporate helm by stating life experiences from her professional journey. On the other hand, Kaustubh will deliver a talk on contemplating efforts to enable women leadership.
'Priming for Success' is the topic for the panel discussion which will feature Latha S, CEO, ChipperSage Education, Chitra V, Manager, Deloitte Consulting USI and Dr. Do Thu Ha, Professor, Vietnam National University.
'Social Entrepreneurship' workshop will take place as a part of the summit. Nagaraja Prakasam, Mentor at NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) will conduct the workshop.

Anuradha Rao, President of Women in Management Club, IIM-B expressed that various issues paved way for holding the summit like both men and women entered into the corporate world and why only a few women managed to achieve top positions in the field. The summit will also focus on various challenges that women face during the professional growth and how these can be overcomed.
