IIM Bodh Gaya Launches 5-Year Integrated Programme in Management
IIM Bodh Gaya has become the third IIM in the country to accept undergraduate admissions with the announcement of its integrated management programme. Candidates will be selected on the basis of entrance test and personal interview.
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya has launched a new 5-year integrated programme in management. The announcement for the launch of the programme was made by the institute on January 6, 2021. The institute has become the third IIM in India that will accept admission at the undergraduate level. Currently, the only other IIMs offering undergraduate admissions are IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak.
The institute will offer a total of 60 seats in the first batch of its IPM course. Out of these, 50 would be the intake capacity of the programme and would have reservations as per government norms and 10 would be supernumerary seats for female candidates. The course will have a holistic curriculum with a focus on experiential learning and international immersion. The course objective, as per a statement from the institute, would be to prepare candidates for leadership positions from the foundation level.
The candidates will be evaluated on the basis of a test - Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT) conducted by the NTA.

IIM BG IPM Eligibility Criteria and Admission
The eligibility criteria of the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) offered by IIM Bodh Gaya is as follows.
The candidate must have completed Class 12th / XII in any of Arts/ Science/ Commerce streams with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ ST/ PwD students).
The candidate must have passed Class 12th in the year 2019 or 2020. Those who are appearing for Class 12th exams in 2021 are also eligible to apply.
The candidate must have completed Class 10th/ X with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ ST/ PwD students).
The candidate must have cleared Class X in or after 2017.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit to apply for the IPM course at IIM Bodh Gaya is 19 years.
Admission Process: IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu will conduct JIPMAT together in 78 cities in India. Candidates will be selected basis their score in class 10, 12 and the entrance exam. The weightage for the JIPMAT score, class 10 and 12 scores will be 70% 15% and 15% respectively. Transgenders and PWD students can apply for JIPMAT. Unlike other IIMs, IIM Bodh Gaya will not give any weightage to the personal interview.
