IIM Calcutta to Offer Advanced Programme in Supply Chain Management

IIM Calcutta has announced 'Advanced Programme in Supply Chain Management' (APSCM) in partnership with Hughes Global Education. This training and executive learning course will be taught over Hughes interactive onsite learning platform. The last date to apply for the course is July 23, 2019. IIM Calcutta declared the launch of the eight batch of the APSCM.

This course is directed at the supply chain management managers, professionals, and practitioners who wish to upgrade their skills with the help of the advanced supply chain management concepts. It is a year-long course which will enable supply chain managers to develop all-round capabilities in managing the real-world supply chain issues. This course will also include a unique 'group project' feature which can help the people pursuing this course to apply key learnings to solve real-world supply chain problems.

Prof. Bodhibrata Nag, Dean Academics at IIM Calcutta said that this programme focuses on the supply chain in depth along with other management aspects such as strategy, finance, organisation structure, design, and marketing, macroeconomics and international trade. It is also designed to help the participants with the relevant skills required to work on supply chain positions.

Apart from the onsite learning, the selected candidates will also get to attend classroom sessions at IIM Calcutta campus. Candidates will be chosen on the basis of an entrance exam and candidate profiling. Till now, more than 25000+ students have used the Hughes Interactive Onsite Learning Platform in more than 70 classrooms in 40 cities across India and have taken part in various courses by leading academic partner institutes to enhance their skills and progress in their career within their organisations.

Candidates will have to meet the eligibility criteria to apply for this course i.e graduates (10+2+3)/Post graduates in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised university can apply and along with that minimum 2 years of work experience in supply chain management operations is also required.
