IIM Calcutta to Launch a Competing on Digital Mindsets (CDM) Programme
IIM Calcutta is all set to start a new course that will be on 'Competing on Digital Mindsets'. This new programme will commence from the academic session of 2019-2020 in the month of July.
The Indian Institute of Technology, Calcutta will be starting with a long duration programme on the topic ‘Competing on Digital Mindsets’ (CDM). The aim of the programme is to equip all the participants with the ability to think about business and technology differently.
The participants of the programme will be taught in a way that will help them rewire client organisations that will enable them in becoming agile in business and technology. It will also train them on how to redesign the processes of organisation and business with a digital outlook and mindset.

IIM Calcutta CDM Programme Details:
The CDM programme at IIM Calcutta will be of a duration of one year and will focus on the modules of Cognitive Tools for the Digital World, Ontology of the Digital Shift, Organizing and Executing for Digital Business, and Competencies and Skills for the Digital Landscape. The programme has been designed and created with the belief that most of the robust talent in the Information Technology Sector (IT) will be competing not only on the basis of digital capabilities, digital technologies, or digital experience but on the basis of a digital mindset that has been cultivated carefully.
The programme will start in the month of July 2019 and will have a three hours long session every week which will go on for a period of eleven months. The delivery of the session will be done through the mode of Direct to Desktop. All the participants will be involved in the curriculum via case studies, lectures, guest lectures from professionals and practitioners, an integrative capstone project, and experiential learning.

To be eligible for getting enrolled in the programme, the candidate must have work experience of a minimum of seven years after graduation. The programme will be spearheaded by Professor Rahul Roy and Professor Priya Seetharaman of the Management Information Systems Group.
