IIM Calcutta Launches New Executive Programme for Banking and Financial Sector

IIM Calcutta has introduced the EPBFS programme, i.e. Executive Programme for Banking and Financial Sector for the current academic year of 2018-19. This new programme at IIM Calcutta offers mid-level and senior executives with the knowledge of core banking, tools, concepts and techniques to face the challenges in today’s banking businesses.

It is a one year programme with a well-designed curriculum to offer its participants an opportunity to gain a new outlook and learn new perspectives. The last date of application for EPBFS programme is 30 July 2018. The first batch will begin from September 2018.

The key features of EPBFS programme are:

• To enhance the knowledge of participants with respect to banking so that they can work cross-functionally within the organization.
• To make participants more skilled in the basics of management
• To provide exposure and in-depth knowledge of legal aspects, risk and conflict management, fin-tech and analytics to its participants.

The year-long programme offers a comprehensive course structure and provides participants an opportunity to learn from thought leaders and develop new perspectives.

The programme will be offered through the Hughes Interactive Onsite Learning Platform operated by HGEIL. Through this platform, participants can listen to the lectures and discuss questions directly with IIM Calcutta faculty.
