IIM Indore Alumni Motivate Current Batch to Embrace Entrepreneurship
- E-Cell of IIM Indore organised a special interactive session on November 19, 2017, to facilitate interaction between alumni and present students.

After the two days of memorable reunion, alumni of Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore, left the campus after giving a piece of advice to their juniors. The alumni have encouraged the students to embrace entrepreneurship. Sharing their experiences regarding entrepreneurship, alumni of IIM Indore mentioned that they had learnt from their previous mistakes.
Their mistakes will help the aspiring students to take caution and necessary measures while running the ventures. The alumni also gave clarity to the students on what works in the industry and what does not.
The senior students of IIM Indore mentioned that perseverance is significant to make any venture successful. Despite constant failures, the alumni had never given up and worked relentlessly to achieve success. A special interaction session was organised by Entrepreneurship Cell of IIM Indore on November 19, 2017, to facilitate interaction between former and current students. Two keynote speakers – Mr. Kamal Deep Bhatia and Mr. Tarun Alan, addressed the interaction session.

Founder of Smart Consulting Mobile Application, Mr. Tarun Alan gave a detailed explanation of the app developed by him. The app helps the doctors maintain hospital and patient wise records of their surgeries to reconcile and track the payments at the end of every month.
Mr. Kamal Deep Bhatia who belongs to 2001 batch gave information about his start-up ‘College Door’. It is a useful website helps students in preparation for the exams.
The interaction with alumni motivated the students to create something on their own in future. During the interaction session, the E-Cell of IIM Indore explained about various initiatives to promote entrepreneurship.

During the interactive session, the students of IIM Indore told their seniors that they started an incubation centre called ‘Clique’, which plays a vital role in providing basic facilities and working space to budding entrepreneurs. IIM Indore also supports entrepreneurship ventures by permitting final year students to focus on entrepreneurship and start-ups.
