IIM Indore Launches PGP-HRM Dual-Campus Programme
- IIM Indore has launched a new post graduate programme in the field of HRM.
- The programme will be offered at both the campuses of the institutes i.e. Indore and Mumbai.

IIM Indore has launched a new post graduate programme in the field of Human Resource Management. The new PGP-HRM programme will be offered at both the campuses of the institutes i.e. Indore and Mumbai from the session 2018.
PGP-HRM is a full-time two-year management course that has been introduced to meet the challenging requirements of the industry. Classes for the first year of the course will be conducted at Indore campus, whereas, the classes for the second year will be conducted at the Mumbai campus.
As the second year of the programme is crucial for industrial interaction, conducting sessions in Mumbai will enable the students to take up industrial projects, internships and network with business leaders in the field.
Aim of the Programme:
- The course will groom aspiring HR Executives and enable them to come up with solutions that integrate human resource and business issues for sustainable business and enhanced productivity.
- It will also help the candidates in understanding business rationalities that affect the human behaviour within an organisation.
- The programme also focuses on analytical orientation in order to understand human behaviour to develop practical skills with respect to HRM functions.

Course structure:
- The curriculum of the PGP-HRM programme has been designed keeping in mind the emerging trends in human resource management, taking feedback from industry experts and analysis of the emerging trends.
- The first year will comprise lessons imparting the fundamental knowledge and understanding of business issues.
- Candidates will also have to take up eight weeks of summer project with leading business organisations after the completion of the first year.
- The second year of the programme is dedicated to specialised courses and industry projects in Mumbai campus of the Institute.

Director of IIM Indore, Rishikesha T Krishnan, said that the programme will help HR professionals to learn cutting edge analytics in order to ‘deliver value to the industry’ and encourage the knowledge revolution.
