IIM Indore Partners with Tik Tok to Create Short-Video Modules on Management Courses
IIM Indore has signed an MoU with Tik Tok with the motive of creating short video modules for imparting management education on courses related to management. The courses will cater to the students as well as working professionals in managerial roles.
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore has entered into a partnership with Tik Tok. With this partnership, IIM Indore aims to create short-video courses in management for students.
According to the information provided by the institute, these videos will be catered to the existing student demographic of IIM Indore, facilitating management education not only for students but also for working professionals pursuing management courses at the institute. These include professionals working in managerial positions, entrepreneurs as well as government officials.
Since Tik Tok is a social media platform that is quite popular among the youth, this novel approach to imparting management education by one of the top B-Schools in India can be seen as a smart move. It is a good step towards modernising education and making it more accessible.

What is Tik Tok?
Tik Tok is one of the most popular video-sharing platforms in the world. It is mostly used for entertainment purposes and some very creative videos are posted on the platform daily by millions of users. However, many Tik Tok users also use the platform for sharing a wide range of informative content.
The popularity of the platform can be seen from the fact that the app has more than 500 million downloads on the Google Play Store and over 600 million downloads of the app have been counted on the Apple App Store.
