IIM Indore PGP Course to Now Cost INR 14 Lakh

With the management admissions all set to roll out for the current academic year, yet another IIM of the country has announced a fee hike.

Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM Indore) has raised its Post Graduate Programme in Management fee to INR 14 lakh, citing operational cost increment as the main reason behind the same.

The revised fee structure will be applicable from the current academic year of 2017-18.

According to reports, the director of the institute, Rishikesha T. Krishnan, revealed that the PGP course fee has been increased by one lakh rupees as compared to the previous structure as per which the programme's cost was Rs. 13 lakh in total for the duration of two years.

Last week, Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad also increased its flagship programme fee by about 7.7 percent, summing it up to Rs. 21 lakh for two years.

Recently, IIM Indore also concluded its final placements that saw a participation of more than two hundred companies. The average CTC salary package offered to the batch of 2017 was Rs. 16.23 lakh per annum, almost 22 percent higher than the previous year.

Post the successful placement season, IIM Indore also organised its annual convocation ceremony on 30th March 2017. Parents of the graduating batch of students, esteemed guests were a part of the ceremonial celebrations.
