IIM Indore Becomes Second B-School to get Triple Accreditation
IIM Indore now has all the three significant accreditations - Association to Advanced Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB, USA), Association of MBAs (AMBA, UK) and EQUIS, European Union.
The EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) accreditation by EFMD has been awarded to the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore on December 10. This makes the institute the second B-school to have been respected with triple international accreditations, after IIM Calcutta.
IIM Indore can now be said to have all the three significant accreditations - Association to Advanced Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB, USA), Association of MBAs (AMBA, UK) and EQUIS, European Union. With this, the B-school has been associated with the 90 other B-Schools across the world.

Director of IIM Indore, Professor Himanshu Rai said that the triple tag has put us among less than 100 countries around the world who have triple accreditation. EQUIS accreditation will further make IIM Indore one of the most preferred institutes in the world.
The institute has already collaborated for a lot of research which will aim at better work and social conscious projects. They will further contribute to nation-building and research in the field of responsible leadership.
EQUIS is the most extensive accreditation system for business and management schools which will invite better placement and recruitment of faculty members. It is widely acknowledged by faculty, employers, students, media and corporate clients.

IIM Indore was crowned with two accreditations in 2019 and AMBA was re-accredited in November 2019 for another term. The AACSB tag was crowned in January 2019 while AMBA was re-accredited for five years in November 2019. UK-based AMBA was the first accreditation that the institute received for its four full-time programmes.
At present, 40 schools in Asia have been awarded the EQUIS accreditation.
