IIM Kozhikode to Host Special Training for Senior Delegates from 17 Countries
IIM Kozhikode, in partnership with the Ministry of External Affairs from the Indian Government, will be conducting a Special Training Programme called Leadership 4.0: Management and Governance in the Emerging World of Disruption for five days, this month.
In collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM-K) will be hosting a special training programme on Management and Leadership. The programme will be organised for a host of government officials and senior diplomats from 17 countries. The Special Training Programme is being conducted under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation programme or ITEC.
As per the official statement released from the Institute, the Special Training Programme will be held between 21st October 2019 and 25th October 2019. The programme called ‘Leadership 4.0: Management and Governance in the Emerging World of Disruption’, tailor-made scientifically by the experienced faculty at IIM Kozhikode. The topic will be focusing on the methods of survival and thriving in a world that is uncertain, volatile and non-linear.
Prof Debasis Chatterjee, Director of IIM Kozhikode, emphasized on the significance of the programme, stating that various organisations and Government leaders require time to reflect. Dedicated attention in order to create potential leaders at high ranks with the capability to steer through and develop value in a dynamic world, is also required.
The main themes of IIM Kozhikode Special Training Programme are “Authenticity (Filling the Gap Between You and Your Reality)”, “Productivity (The Art of Undoing)”, “Connectivity (Creating Resonance)” as well as “Possibility (Changing Mental Models)”.

The Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC), a programme funded completely by the Ministry of External Affairs focuses on skill development, capacity building, technology transmission and sharing the experience of each partner country.

The Dean of Internationalization at IIM Kozhikode, Professor Rudrasensarma stated that the “Leadership 4.0 will be attended by international diplomats and civil servants from 17 different partner countries including Bhutan, Botswana, Egypt, Ethiopia, Gambia, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Nigeria, Oman, Panama, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Vietnam and Zambia.
