IIM Lucknow Launches a First-of-its-kind 11-Month Chief Operations Officer Programme in India
IIM Lucknow has launched, as a unique initiative, an 11-month Chief Operations programme aimed at assisting business executives, aspiring and new COOs to help enhance their company's operational efficiency.
IIM Lucknow: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow has announced the establishment of the first Chief Operations Officer Program throughout the nation. The eleven month programme, developed in conjunction with Emeritus, aims to help business leaders, aspiring and new COOs improve their operational efficiency, disruption resiliency, and enterprise advancement.
Senior professionals and business executives with more than 10 years of experience will benefit from this curriculum. This programme will begin on June 30, 2022, and will cost INR 4,00,000/-, excluding GST. For members who apply before May 05, IIM Lucknow will provide discounted pricing of INR 28,000/-, again with the exclusion of GST.
According to the IIM, the course will provide members with a best-in-class comprehensive grasp of digital and engineering operations, allowing them to deliver improved corporate efficacy and impression.

Members will receive a certificate of accomplishment from IIM Lucknow and executive alumni status upon the successful completion of the programme. It will be given through a combination of online sessions and a five-day immersion at the IIM Lucknow campus. The program's curriculum includes 10 contemporary topics, a capstone project, and real-world case studies, all of which will be taught by the notable IIM Lucknow professors.
Dr Suresh K Jakhar, Associate Professor at Operations Management, and Dr Himanshu Rathore, Assistant Professor at Operations Management of IIM Lucknow, commented on the program's launch, saying, "Operational leaders must not only develop but also drive operational capabilities from a strategic perspective to gain a competitive advantage in today's business environment. A company's operational qualities enable it to navigate a dynamic, unpredictable, and competitive market. This training is for COOs and business executives who want to improve their operational abilities so they can think creatively, execute decisively, and drive value chain innovations."
