IIM Sambalpur Shortlist 2022 - Check Admission Criteria

The admission process of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Sambalpur has started. It will follow the process under the Common Admission Process (CAP). Candidates will have to appear for the WAT and PI rounds. Candidates qualifying the eligibility criteria must apply for admissions to the MBA courses.
Candidates must score a minimum of 93 percentile (For General Category) in CAT 2021 exams to be eligible. The admissions for the batch 2022-24 will follow the process by CAP. Candidates qualifying the minimum eligibility criteria will have to appear for Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview rounds for the final selection.
Admission Criteria for IIM Sambalpur Admissions
- IIM Sambalpur will follow the CAP for admission, which is held for the 10 new IIMs: IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Bodhgaya, IIM Kashipur, IIM Udaipur, IIM Trichy, and IIM Jammu.
- Female candidates will be awarded extra five points for the admission process.
- Additionally, candidates from a non-engineering background will also be awarded five extra points, based on their stream of graduation.
- All candidates must appear for the WAT and PI round to qualify for the shortlisting of final candidates for admission.
Cutoff for PI-WAT: IIM Sambalpur Admission
Candidates will have to score the cutoff percentile of CAT 2021 to be considered for the shortlisting of candidates for PI-WAT. Candidates who have scored the minimum or above the scores can apply for admissions. Take a look at the section-wise division of the CAT cutoff percentile:

Candidates must apply based on the chart above. The candidates who will be shortlisted will be called for the PI-WAT rounds via email. Candidates who receive the mail must be present in person on the specified for the PI-WAT rounds for IM Sambalpur admission.

Final Scores for IIM Sambalpur Admission

Note: Candidates from the non-Engineering background can avail 5 percent weightage under diversity and female candidates can avail 5 percent weightage under the same.
Weightage of Work Experience: IIM Sambalpur Admission 2022-24
Candidates will also be scored based on their work experiences. So, candidates who have work experience will gain these additional scores for the admissions. Take a look at the scores given for work experience:

Candidates will have to meet all the requirements for admission to IIM Sambalpur 2022-24 batch. Candidates accepting the offer will have to revert with acceptance and pay the acceptance fees. The fees will then be later adjusted with the admission fees.
