IIM Udaipur Conducts Online Inauguration Ceremony for 2020-22 MBA Batch
In the inauguration ceremony of IIM Udaipur, students got to listen to the inspiring words from Sonjoy Chatterjee, the Chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs India. Students were also taken through the General Orientation rounds taken by IIM faculty.
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Udaipur has integrated its flagship Master of Business Administration (MBA) course. The institute has started classes for the course online after conducting a 3-day long online orientation session for the 375 students that will be joining the MBA 2020-22 batch.
The inauguration ceremony of IIM Udaipur was attended by several notable dignitaries including the Chief Guest Sonjoy Chatterjee, the Chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs India, Prof. Janat Shah, the Director of IIM Udaipur, Prof. Rezina Sultana, the Academic Dean of IIM Udaipur, as well as the faculty members of the institute.

Mr Chatterjee, while addressing the incoming MBA batch of IIM Udaipur, motivated the candidates and asked them to hone their conduct and the ideas that the students stand for. He also emphasised on the need for discipline and teamwork while the students spend the next 2 years in the MBA course of IIM Udaipur.
The students were also addressed by Prof. Shah, who called the incoming batch a 'pioneer class of IIM Udaipur' and called out the students efforts in getting selected for the programme and preparing for the future even in the tough times of COVID-19 pandemic.
Prof. Sultana also congratulated the incoming batch and asked them to put in consistent efforts throughout their study. After the inauguration ceremony had concluded, the students of the incoming batch were taken through the General Orientation in which they were provided information about IIM Udaipur's Vision 3030 as well as about placements, career support and other such topics.
