IIST Ph.D. Admission 2024: The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology will close the IIST Ph.D. admission application form fill-up process on November 9, 2023 (till 11.59 pm). Candidates, yet to apply for the IIST Ph.D. admission, should visit the official website- iist.ac.in/admissions/phd/regular and submit the online application form before the last date. Candidates, who have completed Master’s degree, are eligible for the IIST Ph.D. 2024 admission.
Candidates, who will be successfully submitting the online application form before the last date, the authority will release the names of shortlisted candidates among them on November 16, 2023 (4 pm) on the official website.

IIST Ph.D. Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria
To participate in the IIST Ph.D. admission process, the candidates should meet the eligibility criteria. Check out the eligibility criteria here.
- Applicants should complete their master's degree in Engineering/ technology as the highest qualifying degree
- Candidates should get 60% marks in ME/ MTech or equivalent grade (whereas 55% for the reserved category candidates)

The mode of applying for the IIST Ph.D. admission 2024 is online only. Candidates can check out the following steps to apply for admission here.
- Go to the official website or click on the above-highlighted direct link
- Select Ph.D and then click on the “Online admission portal”
- Candidates will be redirected to a new page, where they need to click on “New User registration”
- Next, complete the profile registration and branch registration
- Pay the registration fees
- Before submitting the application form, the candidates should click on the “View application” option
- Submit the IIST Ph.D. application form 2024 and take a printout for future reference
