IIT Bhubaneswar Celebrates its 10th Foundation Day
- Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar is celebrating its 10 Foundation Day on 12 February.
- More than 100 exhibits will take part in the science and technology exhibition to showcase their inventions and innovations.
The Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar is celebrating its 10th foundation day on 12 February 2018, at Argul Campus. The chief guests for the 10th Foundation Day of IIT Bhubaneswar will be Policy Studies Director C Uday Bhaskar and Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi, as mentioned by Professor RV Raja Kamar IIT Director during a press meet on Saturday.

As part of the open house, IIT Bhubaneswar students will be organising a science and technology exhibition. More than 100 exhibits will take part in the science and technology exhibition to showcase their inventions and innovations.

The institute will felicitate the outstanding students who performed well in IIT arena, the distinguished faculty who excelled in teaching, and staff who render outstanding services to the Institute on the foundation day.
IIT Bhubaneswar was founded in the year 2008 and is located in Bhubaneswar Odisha. It is a public engineering institute offering various B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc and PhD programmes.It has been recognised by UGC and is approved by AICTE. Most of the programmes offer various specialization to the students. The admission to the courses is on the basis of national-level entrance exams such as JEE Advanced,GATE & UGC NET depending upon the course type and level of the course. IIT Bhubaneswar was one of the first amongst the eight new IITs to become operational with a sanctioned intake of forty students each in the civil, mechanical and electrical engineering programmes.
