These antennas at the base station will help in the faster and reliable communication as there are a large number of mobile terminals working as well on the same frequency channel. They also improve power efficiency which reduces interference with other radio systems. This move will also help in providing broadband in the rural areas of the country which is one of the main aims of the Digital India Programme.
