IIT Delhi Introduces M.Sc Economics and M.Sc Cognitive Science
IIT Delhi introduced two new courses MSc Economics and MSc Cognitive Science. The course will be offered full time and admission will be done on the basis of IIT JAM.
IIT Delhi will offer two new full-time Master’s degree programmes from July 2020. The courses are MSc Economics and MSc Cognitive Science. These courses will be offered under the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of IIT Delhi.
According to sources, a total of 25 students will be offered admission under these courses. The Admission for both courses is open for 2020. Interested candidates can apply for the course through the IIT Delhi official website. The candidate must have appeared in IIT JAM, a national level entrance examination to be considered for admission in M.Sc courses offered by IITs.
IIT Delhi will soon offer Bachelor’s in design (BDes) within the campus and enrollment for the same will begin from the next session. BDes course will offer a total of 20 seats and admission will be considered through JEE Advanced score. More details with regard to the B.Des course of IIT Delhi will be updated soon.

However, the Institute is facing a lack of enough space to provide accommodation to its students due to the introduction of new courses in recent times and reservation for economically weaker sections (EWS). It is for this reason that the IIT Delhi has partnered with the OYO to provide off-campus accommodation facilities to IIT Delhi students.
