Foreign students who are planning to or are already pursuing their Ph.D from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT-D) must note that IIT Delhi has fixed the similar fees for international students and Indian students. The Ph.D. fees for both Indian and international students will be the same, and it will help the premier institute to attract more international students.
The initiative to charge the same fee from the foreign students will boost IIT Delhi’s international ranking. Even though the institute managed a QS World Ranking of 172 last year, it did not perform well in some of the parameters such as student-teacher ratio, international students and international faculty.
