IIT Delhi to Organise Cultural Fest ‘Rendezvous’ from 21st October
Rendezvous 2016, the cultural festival of the IIT – Delhi will begin from October 21. It is a four-day-long annual event that attracts more than 50,000 students from over 350 colleges across India.

Rendezvous, one of the biggest cultural festival of Northern Indian, is a platform where students get a chance to showcase their technical skills. Apart from that the festival also sets stage for various artists from across the country.
Matlab, Autonomous Robotics, Cloud Computing, Ethical Hacking, Embedded Systems and various other programming competitions will be organized at the festival. Among the cultural competitions, Rendezvous will have dance, debating, dramatics, literary competitions in both Hindi and English, quizzes and photography competitions as well.
Rendezvous also conducts other engaging events where singers and bands from across the globe will perform to entertain the participants. Campfires, poker and amazing food is another specialty of the festival. Another highlight of the fest is the performance of the metal band Drowning Pool and Rendezvous social initiative ‘Pehchaan’.
The festival has big sponsors such as Vivo Smartphones – the title sponsor. Rendezvous will be powered by American Tourister and driven by Hero.

Registration for Rendezvous 2016 can be done through social networking site, Facebook. Participants can also apply for accommodation on the campus provided by IIT Delhi. The institute has provided a detailed accommodation policy on the official website of the event.
Rendezvous 2016 will commence from October 21 and will continue till October 24, 2016.
