The International School Championship, Technothlon, organised by the students of IIT Guwahati, as part of their techno-management festival Techniche, this year will offer the mega prize of a guided tour to NASA’s AMES Research Centr in California, USA to the Champions.
The competition is said to be held in two phases- prelims and mains. The prelims would be conducted across 350 centres in India. It is scheduled for July 17. The students will be divided into Junior Squad (Class 9-10), and the Hauts Squad (Class 11-12). The questions will be based on logic, analytical ability as well as practical observations. It is said that the prelims phase will be completely different from any other competitive examination held.
The organisers said that the competition can be attempted by a team of two students jointly wherein the spontaneity and out-of-the-box thinking capability of the students will be judged. The top 50 teams from each squad will qualify for the final round. The mains will be held at the institute campus during Techniche from September 1 to 4.
Technothlon has introduced a new initiative called ‘Tech Analysis Report’ which will help the students to know themselves better and enable them to improve in their future examinations.
