IIT Hyderabad, MLR Institute of Technology Sign MoU for Research Collaboration
The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad) has inked a pact with MLR Institute of Technology Hyderabad for teaching and research purpose. The MoU will help in the mutual intellectual growth of both IIT-H and MLRIT.
The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad has collaborated with MLR Institute of Technology Hyderabad (MLRIT) for teaching and research purpose. The aim of the collaboration between IIT-H and MLRIT is to initiate mutually beneficial programmes for technological advancement and research between the two institutes.
Apart from this, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will focus on providing quality teaching, learning, and research. For the benefit of students, the MoU will also focus on initiating various research practices.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Sumohana Channappayya, Dean IIT-Hyderabad and K Srinivas Rao, Principal of MLRTI. According to the press release, the pact will also initiate faculty development programmes, which will be beneficial for the teachers of MLRIT.
The faculty development programme will provide technical training to the faculty members and research scholars. The programme will be open for students so that they can gain knowledge about the same and to carry out the research work. Through this, they will gain knowledge regarding how to conduct research and initiate the same.

Channappayya said that the collaboration between the two institutes would promote intellectual growth and will also help in technological advancement through conferences, guest lectures, training, and certificate courses. In the end, he expressed his happiness towards the collaboration and said that it will help in promoting quality research and joint research programmes.
