IIT Hyderabad Introduces Short Course on Nonlocal Mechanics Approaches for Modelling
IIT Hyderabad has invited applications to the three-day class for Nonlocal Mechanics Approaches for Modelling Localised Deformations. The classes are expected to be held in February 2020. Applications to the programme will be closed by 15th December 2020.
The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) is currently inviting application for its “Nonlocal Mechanics Approaches for Modelling Localised Deformations” (NMAMLD). NMAMLD is a short term course that IIT Hyderabad will be conducting for three days, from 19th February 2020 - 21st February 2020. All aspirants can apply latest by 15th December 2019.
As per a statement released by IIT Hyderabad, the course has been designed to offer an “overview of modelling approaches in elastic and inelastic materials and structures”. The statement added that during the three-day class, the faculty will be emphasizing on the objective description of highly localized deformation mechanism like fractures, damages, and shear bands.
The IIT-H statement also claims that the classes will be co-held by the faculty at the institute along with a few renowned faculty from abroad, viz. Prof Arun Srinivasa and Prof JN Reddy of Texas A&M University in the USA.

NMAMLD 2020 Registration Fee
All the interested candidates will be required to pay a registration fee, which will cover all the lectures, reference and course materials along with food expenses. The NMAMLD 2020 registration fee is as follows:

As mentioned above, the registration processes for the NMAMLD 2020 classes will be concluded on 15th December 2019. All aspirants must register and pay the application fee as outlined by the institute.

On the other hand, IIT-H has just completed the registration process for the Healthcare Entrepreneurship Fellowship, which is expected to be held in the months of January and February next year.
