IIT Indore to Hold its Fourth Convocation on 12th November
The 4th convocation of IIT Indore will be held on 12th November at its permanent campus in Simrol.

As per the official information of the institute, Secretary, Department of Science and Technology, Professor Ashutosh Sharma will be the chief guest of the 4th Convocation.

Already the institute has held its first two convocations in June in 2013 and 2014. The institute held its third convocation ceremony last year in August. The official release said that all students who have completed their degree are compulsorily required to attend the pre-convocation rehearsal. It is scheduled on 11th November.
The candidates attending the convocation will have to give their consent and all the details of accompanying guests in a prescribed format, which is available on the institute's website. All students will have to wear an attire that will be issued before the dress rehearsal. For that, they have to a deposit Rs 2,000.

IIT Indore is an institute of national importance and one of the eight new Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) established by HRD Ministry. The institute started functioning from 2009-10 in a temporary campus at Institute of Engineering and Technology of Indore University. The first batch of the institute graduated in 2013. The institute started functioning from January 2016 onwards at the permanent campus at Simrol.
