IIT JAM 2022 Biotechnology (BT) Question Paper Analysis (Available), Answer Key

IIT JAM 2022: IIT JAM 2022 Biotechnology (BT) examination was conducted on 13 February 2022 by IIT Roorkee in the forenoon session.  IIT JAM 2022 Biotechnology paper consists of three sections and they are Section-A, Section-B, and Section-C. Section-A consists of 30 MCQs, Section-B 10 MCQs, and Section-C 20 NAT. The total number of questions of the Biotechnology examination is 60, and it is for 100 marks.  The marking scheme differs from Section-A to Section-B and C. Only section-A has negative marking, 1/3 of marks will be deducted for 1-mark questions and 2/3 will be for 2 marks questions. Section-B and Section-C do not have a negative marking scheme. The duration of the IIT JAM 2022 examination is 3 hours. The examination will be conducted in online mode (Computer Based Test).

IIT JAM 2022 paper was moderate and consisted good amount of questions from Ecology ( around 2-3 questions) this year. The paper also consisted of questions from developmental biology which is a newly introduced topic, microbiology, immunology, genetics, molecular biology and biochemistry. The questions were very simple and direct.
