IIT JAM 2022 Physics papers has been conducted on February 13, 2022, in the forenoon session. The exam will be conducted in CBT mode and the medium for paper will be English only. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. The exam paper pattern will consist of three sections - Section A, Section B, and Section C. Section A, B, C will contain MCQs, MSQs, and NAT questions respectively. All sections are to be answered mandatorily.
Section A will consist of 30 questions with 10 questions carrying 1 mark and 20 questions carrying 2 marks each. Section B will consist of 10 questions carrying 2 marks each and Section C will contain 20 questions with 2 marks each. For every incorrect answer, in Section A, 1/3 mark will be deducted for 1 mark question and 2/3 marks will be deducted for 2 marks questions. There is no negative marking for Section B & C. The IIT JAM Cutoff and Result will be declared on the official website once the exam is concluded.
